Travel Plans are Set for "The Ice"

My scheduled departure date for McMurdo is Dec. 1st. I will travel to Los Angeles, then take a Qantas flight to Auckland, NZ, and finally a 1 1/2 hour flight down to Christchurch. Stay tuned for periodic updates on the status of my trip and of the launch.
